How she did it: 5-6 small meals, exercise, using Fitbook to stay on track
Her top tips:
Keep track! My husband gave me a Fitbook from Fitlosophy when I was four months pregnant. This little book helped me keep track of my food and water intake, daily vitamin, exercise, weight, inches and goals. I kept my pregnancy healthy and on track using Fitbook and thought it would only make sense to continue using one after. I'm happy to say that little book has become my lifestyle bible!
Eat small, snack smart. Every Sunday I prepared fruits and veggies in baggies so when I was on the go I could just grab something rather than be tempted to stop at fast food restaurants or grab something sweet. This not only made it easier, but helped me eat better since I hate seeing food go to waste! If fruits and veggies are in my fridge, I want to eat them before they get bad!
Exercise. I told myself even if it’s only 10 minutes of light walking, it's more than sitting on the couch. I also used my daughter as a huge motivation. I want her to know the importance of exercise - and how to make it fun! So she went out on walks and runs with me often, she's around to watch me do my workout DVDs when we can't go outside and she actually is my weight when they call for dumbbells! She loves it and so do I!
