During an appearance on Howard Stern's radio show Tuesday, Playboy Playmate and runaway bride Crystal Harris seriously dissed former fiancé Hugh Hefner's prowess (or lack thereof) in the bedroom, saying that they had sex just once -- and it only lasted "like two seconds"! Well, Hef has come back swinging. "Crystal lied about our relationship on Howard Stern but I don't know why," he tweeted Wednesday. "Maybe a new boyfriend?"
Hefner, 85, has since removed that particular status update, but he continues to tweet about 25-year-old Harris. "Crystal convinced me that she adored me," he wrote in reply to one follower's tweet. "That was the first lie."
Hef also clarified some of his previous comments about his split with Harris. "When I said, 'I missed a bullet' when Crystal left, I didn't mean I didn't love her," he wrote. "I meant I realized she really didn't love me." He then added, more ambiguously, "I feel sorry for Crystal. She seems lost."
Harris did tell Howard Stern that she loved Hef, but she also admitted that she loved the lifestyle he gave her. Her description of the split was that it was mutual, although her indiscreet comments to Stern suggest otherwise. Her comments also go against what she wrote on her own website in the wake of the breakup: "I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time." Blabbing about your sex life with Howard Stern? Not so private -- and not so classy, either.
Since splitting with Hef, Harris has reportedly struck up a romance with Dr. Phil's son Jordan McGraw. Always resilient, Hefner has also publicly moved on with two new blonde girlfriends: Anna Sophia Berglund and Shera Bechard. And, despite the continuing Crystal drama, Hef insists that he's "happy to be in a better place" with his new gal pals. Stay strong, Hugh!
