Apple cider removes some of the bitterness of black tea. Combine it with fresh mint and a dash of honey, and you’ve got a refreshing twist on your basic iced tea.

| 4 cups water | 12 fresh mint leaves, plus sprigs for garnish | |
| 4 black tea bags (English Breakfast works nicely) | 3 tablespoons honey | |
| 2 cups apple cider | Ice |
Bring water to a boil. Remove from heat, and steep tea bags and fresh mint leaves in water. After five minutes, remove tea bags but leave mint leaves to steep. Chill tea in the refrigerator until it’s cold.
Remove chilled tea from refrigerator, and strain to remove mint leaves. Mix tea with cold cider and honey. Pour over ice in glasses, and serve cold. Garnish with any extra mint sprigs.
