At ICFF, we were especially impressed by companies that are making serious strides in their commitment to eco-friendly design. Here are our picks for those that are raising the bar on reuse, recycle and re-imagine:

PaperForm wall tiles from MIO give any wall a three-dimensional surface in minutes. Made from 100% post and pre-consumer waste paper, they can be adhered temporarily with tape or permanently with wallpaper paste. They can also be painted (but they look pretty great without as is, too). ($32 for a 12-pack at mioculture.com)

Balanced Design pillows are already eco-conscious, with their vegetable-dyed wool felt appliqués hand-sewn onto organic cotton flannel covers. But the company takes it a step further by using cushion fill made from recycled milk jugs and feathers. (about $90, balanced-design.com)

Believe it or not, Loll's super stylish Adirondack chair is made from 100% recycled milk jugs, detergent bottles, margarine tubs and garbage containers. Bonus: The company plants a tree for every product sold. ($520, lolldesigns.com)

Seattle-based company graypants hand-makes its Scrap Lights from repurposed cardboard boxes. The lovely lights are available in bell, disc, and moon shapes and treated with a non-toxic, fire-retardant finish. (from $129 at graypants.com)
