The Idea: Tiered Succulent Planter

Use epoxy glue to adhere clear glasses in between ceramic dishes of varying sizes, using the largest as a base and the smallest as the top container. Fill planters with a base layer of gravel or pumice, followed by a layer of potting soil. Insert succulent plants, and top with river rocks, moss, driftwood, etc. Use a brush to clean off any dirt that may have settled into plants.

The Blogger: Craftberrybush

Why It’s Smart: For under $10 you can create a modern planter to rival lux versions in stores.

Level of Difficulty: Medium. This project is several steps, including repotting and arranging the plants to your liking. A good afternoon project.
