'Identity Thief' (Feb. 8)

Short Story:
On the cusp of beginning his own financial firm, Sandy Bigelow Patterson (Jason Bateman) realizes his identity has been stolen. The culprit? Diana (Melissa McCarthy), an unpredictable pathological liar who lives in Florida and uses Sandy's money for her every whim. That is, until Sandy travels to the Sunshine State, determined to find Diana and bring her back to Denver to clear Sandy's name. Easier said than done!

What They're Saying:
"Surprisingly, in the current raunchy climate of contemporary comedies, Identity Thief is comparably mild. There's more charm and heart wrapped in these characters than many other recent laughers." -- FOX News

Good for Kids?
In this particular role, McCarthy is more Bridesmaids than Mike & Molly. For that reason, Common Sense Media warns parents to expect strong language, thematic elements and "messages about criminal activity" from the R-rated comedy.
