Crystal Bowersox may not have gone home the winner of last season's American Idol, but she still has plenty to sing about. It has been confirmed that season nine's runner-up is engaged and is set to walk down the aisle with fellow musician Brian Walker next month.
You may remember that Bowersox broke up with the father of her 1-year-old son, Tony, just before losing in the Idol finale to Lee DeWyze. The Ohio native told Ryan Seacrest at the time that her baby daddy bailed because of the pressures that came with her being in the limelight.
"We're both logical, grown adults," she said. "He's a small town guy and it's fine. But I'm a small town girl but I want this. I want this more than anything -- this career, this lifestyle. I didn't think he was up for it. He didn't think he was up for it."
Looks like Bowersox, who is currently recording her first album, has found someone else who's more comfortable with her public lifestyle!
