MOTH ORCHID, NOVELTY STRIPES
Latin name: Phalaenopsis
Moth orchids are not only beautiful to behold, they're ranked as one of the best air-purifying house plants you can grow. This Phalaenopsis orchid has waxy, white petals infused with stripes of fuchsia. The plant has a minimum of five buds that open one by one -- from the bottom of the stem to its tip -- creating a drama of color. And best of all, this orchid blooms for two to three months once or twice a year. You'll receive either Phalaenopsis "taisuco okaystripe" or "taisuco candystripe," depending on availability. Planted in a four-inch black plastic pot that can be inserted into a decorative container.
