Why this diet? I love that the SB way of eating is based upon real food, not pre-made frozen stuff or shakes. It is very easy to make simple changes to recipes I previously enjoyed to make them fit SB. It is also easy to eat out or travel and stick with it. This is a great plan for people who love to cook, though I think that even non-cooks do well on it.
Biggest challenge: Avoiding sugar and keeping my grain/starch portions to reasonable limits is challenging. But these would be challenges for me on any plan as I have yet to find an effective weight-loss plan based upon scones and cookies.
Best part: Discovering new foods. The true best part is the support and friendship I have found on this board.
