Eat at Your Own Risk: The Deep-Fried Twinkie Burger Is Here

This Halloween, there's a cray-cray new burger to terrify you

Just in time for Halloween: There's a new Frankenfood on the scene. And if you want to try this one, you should probably consult your doctor first.

As of this week, you can now get a deep-fried Twinkie burger at Philadelphia restaurant PYT (which is already well known for its wild offerings, like a lamb burger between a bun made out of rice).

Here's what you get with their latest creation: two deep-fried Twinkie buns, a custom-blend pork belly patty, American cheese and extra bacon. Oh, and the Twinkies are fried in funnel cake batter. (Take a minute to let that sink in.)

As PYT says on its Facebook page, "We are really sorry about this, but someone had to do it.” We’re not sure that’s totally true, but OK.

Sure, we’ve seen ramen burgers and PYT’s own glazed donut burger. But this cray-cray new concoction takes the (Hostess) cake.

Would you try a deep-fried Twinkie burger?
