Spaghetti Roller Coasters? We Can't Wait to Visit This Italian Food Theme Park

Well, we'll have to wait until it opens in 2015--but save us a spot in line

We thought Eataly was already the best amusement park ever. The Italian food emporium--with 26 branches in Italy, Japan, New York City, Chicago, Turkey and Dubai--is like a fever dream of insanely alluring Italian cheeses, cured meats, wines, imported pastas in all shapes and sizes, plus wine and cheese bars, pizzerias, bakeries, restaurants, and gelaterias. And more. But apparently that's not enough Italian food porn, so Eataly just announced plans to open an Italian-food-themed amusement park called Fico Eataly World in Bologna, Italy, in 2015.

No word yet on what kind of rides will be on offer--that's if sitting on a wine-bar stool doesn't count as a ride. The park will have, yes, restaurants, food markets, food labs, even an aquarium, and will reportedly take up nearly 20 acres. That's a lot of bucatini and burrata. Read more here.
