Because of the recent economic crunch, welcoming fall is not as happy as it could be for some fashion fiends. Watching your pennies leaves little to spend on the "It" gear of the season. Even still, you want to add to your wardrobe and stay current. So what's a fashionista to do?

If we told you it's possible to buy only 10 staples in order to build your fall wardrobe, would you believe us? And if we then said that all you'd have to spend on these 10 items is $300, how cool would that be? When we posed that challenge to ourselves, we didn't think it could be done. But thankfully, we were wrong.
