Jack Black has mastered the art of playing hilarious characters and cracking up audiences while keeping a straight face -- a skill that might come in handy when he's trying his luck at the poker table!
The 42-year-old funnyman, who stars alongside Owen Wilson and Steve Martin in the comedy The Big Year (in theaters Oct. 14) -- tells iVillage that he has one important item on his bucket list. And it's a serious gamble.
"I really want to play in the World Series of Poker," he says. "It’s very expensive....10 large ($10,000.)"
But Martin isn't sold. "You know what I’d worry about if I did that?" he says. "You pay your 10,000 and you’re out in an hour."
But just because Martin isn't huge on poker, doesn't mean he's not competitive. "I think it’s important to be competitive in sports, like card games, ping-pong," he says. "There’s nothing less fun than to play a game against someone who doesn’t care if they win or lose."
And new dad Wilson (who welcomed son Robert in January) agrees. "Oh, that is the worst!" he says.
