Joe Jackson's solution to the family's financial woes was to create a family band starring four of his sons, Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon. But when five-year-old Michael shows he not only has a sweet voice, but the skills to imitate James Brown's dance moves, Joe puts him in the group and the band becomes known as The Jackson 5.
