You know how celebrities usually talk about motherhood: They love every minute, their kids are geniuses, and everything is wonderful all the time. So bravo to Jaime Pressly for coming right out and admitting she's having some problems! Specifically, potty training problems.
Pressly, 32, admitted to People's Celebrity Baby Blog that her 2-and-a-half-year-old son Dezi James was still in diapers. "He's in the process of potty training, which is not going well," said the Emmy winning My Name is Earl star. "He looks at his little girlfriend -- who is his age and potty trained completely -- and doesn't understand. 'Why don't you let Mommy clean it?'"
The actress is now discovering what mothers of boys have known since time began: Boys just take longer than girls to potty-train. "I thought it was just my son, but it's not," she said. "It's the majority of men. Sorry, little boys. Babies."
The famous funny lady added: "Although I do think that if men had the opportunity to go in a diaper and let someone else clean it, they would." Probably true!
Little Dezi (yes, named after I Love Lucy star Desi Arnaz) is the actress' son with DJ Eric Calvo, whom Pressly dated from 1996 to 2008. Pressly is now raising him with her husband of five months, entertainment lawyer Simran Singh.
