THE BACHELOR ("On the Wings of Love"), season 14, (2010): Strong, sensitive pilot -- and Bachelorette season 5 reject -- Jake Pavelka stunned fans when he became more and more attracted to brash, curvy Vienna Girardi, a lightning rod for conflict among the other women vying for Jake's heart. In the weeks leading up to the finale, tabloids ran reports defaming Vienna and rehashing scandals in her past. But Pavelka proposed anyway. Their roller-coaster romance didn't last long, and the two were soon back on ABC for The Bachelor Breakup special, which aired July 5. Jake screamed, Vienna cried (and infamously called Jake a "fame whore") and ratings soared. The two faced off once again during season 2 of Bachelor Pad, where Vienna and her then-boyfriend Kasey Kahl (from Ali Fedowtosky's season) made a whole new set of enemies as they schemed their way to the no. 2 spot in the competition.
