My Name is Earl's Jamie Pressly and her fiance, Eric Cubiche, have parted ways. The couple have a 1 1/2 year old son together.

"We are taking a break from our relationship but we are together every day with Dezi and still love each other very much," the actress old Access Hollywood.

You know, they weren't even a couple who just got together on a whim, had a kid, and then realized it wasn't right -- in actuality they had been friends for nine years before getting romantic! Jamie and Eric then dated for over a year before getting engaged in October 2006 and had baby Dezi in May 2007.

But Jamie promises that she and her ex plan to "remain close friends as we both adore our son and want to make sure he knows we both love him more than life."

Good for them -- hopefully it all works out for the best.
