We haven't seen very much of Janet Jackson since the death of her brother, but you know who we've seen even less of? Janet's boyfriend of seven years, Jermaine Dupri.
The music producer wasn't at Michael Jackson's memorial service with his girl's family, and sources say it's because the twosome has split.
"His friends are telling people it's over," one insider told UsMagazine.com. Another says, "They have been moving in different directions for a while."
Jermaine and Janet had been working closely on some music projects lately, which seem to have caused some problems. "You shouldn't mix business with pleasure," a pal said. "Janet felt their lives were too crossed and they should have kept things separate."
Maybe they were just too different?
"Jermaine likes to be out there, mingling with everybody, and Janet's more shy," the source blabbed.
Well, no matter what happened between them, Jermaine could have showed up to be there for Janet, who is reportedly "devastated" by Michael's death. Just out of respect.
