No laughing matter here. Seinfeld star Jason Alexander struck a 14-year-old bicyclist while driving in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning. Police say the Emmy-nominated actor won't be cited for the accident, the Associated Press reports.

Los Angeles police spokeswoman Norma Eisenman said Alexander, 50, hit the young boy yesterday in the mid-city area. Luckily the boy, who according to E! was on his way to school, sustained no major injuries and was in stable condition after being taken to the hospital.

Unlike some celeb hit-and-run horror stories, Alexander did the right thing. His publicist Ron Hofmann stated that the funny man waited for police and paramedics to arrive after the accident and was reportedly relieved to learn that the teenager wasn't seriously injured.
