It's not often that a movie star admits he was overpaid for a film. But Jason Bateman says filming The Switch with Jennifer Aniston was less like work and more like hanging out with an old buddy.
"Jennifer and I have been friends for a long time, so it was a lot of fun and we got even closer," Bateman, 41, tells iVillage exclusively. "We didn't have to work that hard. We just brought our friendship to the set and plugged it into these characters. We should give a little of the money back, I think."
The actor, who's married to actress Amanda Anka, also opened about the traits he shares with their 3-year-old daughter Francesca. "She likes her carbohydrates like me," he says. "Five chips are better than one chip." And, like Dad, "she seems pretty sassy....I got kicked out of a couple of schools."
Watch our exclusive video interview to find out what kind of father Bateman is and how he's trying to "not get kicked out" of the entertainment industry.
