Just when you thought Jay Leno would be gone from your TV forever, NBC goes and gives him a new prime time show.
Jay, who is scheduled to hand down to his late-night gig to Conan O' Brien (yay!) beginning June 2009, has snagged a variety show that will air on the weeknights at 10pm. The network just couldn't let him go, fearing that he would get snatched up by another network and then compete against his replacement.
Jay's getting old anyway, so this should be a good move for him. Us seniors need to get to bed early.
