THE BACHELORETTE, season 3 (2005): On this cycle of The Bachelorette, Ohio native Jen Schefft -- a publicist who got engaged to Andrew Firestone at the end of a prior Bachelor season, but found herself single again when their romance ended -- was ultimately unimpressed by her options. Jen gave her final rose to art gallery director Jerry Ferris, but declined his ring. "I want you to keep that," she said. "I want you to give it back to me if you feel the same way about me down the road that you do now." But when the two reunited on the After the Final Rose special, Jen still wasn't ready to wear his ring. Jen went on to write the book Better Single Than Sorry: A No Regrets Guide to Loving Yourself and Never Settling. In 2008, she met Chicagoan Joe Waterman on a blind date; they wed in 2009 and welcomed their first child in 2010.
