It's been a busy week for Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans. The 20-year-old was arrested twice over a seven-day period, the first time on harassment charges and the second time for allegedly violating a domestic violence protective order.
Evans has had a difficult time in the spotlight. The mom of Jace, 2, has previously been arrested for drug possession and breaking and entering, and is still on probation for viciously attacking former friend Brittany Truett.
On Jan. 10, TMZ learned that Evans had been arrested in North Carolina after allegedly making harassing phone calls to former roommate Hannah Inman. She posted a $1,000 bond and was released, with Evans' lawyer calling the charges against Jenelle "absurd and completely retaliatory in nature."
Evans subsequently tweeted, "I'm free as a biiirrrrddddd :D."
But not for long. Only six days later, on Jan. 16, the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office arrested Evans again, this time for violating a domestic violence protective order. TMZ reports that the details of the arrest are unclear, but that Evans was still in custody as of last night.
This comes after a Jan. 12 tweet in which Evans told a follower, "I'll never go to jail. Promise you that."
Unfortunately for Jenelle, that might not be the case. Evans, who entered a rehab facility in Malibu in May to try to get a handle on her drug and anger problems, is still on probation for that 2011 street fight with Truett -- and these latest arrests could spell big trouble.
