First comes porn, then comes marriage, then comes… blogging about your kids! That’s the trajectory for Jenna Jameson, anyhow. The "Queen of Porn" has always wanted to cross over into mainstream stardom, and her latest attempt is, according to a Tweet earlier this week, "an amazing blog based strictly on beauty, fashion and mommy issues."
Jenna, who gave birth to twin boys in March after a long struggle with infertility, has posted two entries so far on her new blog. The first post actually says nothing at all about "mommy issues," focusing instead on beauty: "I am going to blog my little heart out about everything from my favorite hair care, to the best way to get rid of cellulite… Stay tuned… this is going to be fun!"
The second post gets to the good stuff: Jameson’s intimate thoughts on becoming pregnant. Among them:
#1 Finally I’m going to be a mommy
#4 I’m scared
#8 I’m going to be COVERED in stretch marks from twins!
#9 I feel like I’m going to barf
She then goes into a long paragraph praising Kiehl's Creme de Corp for preventing her stretch marks. So far, so disappointing: the whole point of reading mommy blogs is to hear the secret thoughts of other moms spoken out loud and say "me too!" As opposed to: "Seriously? That stuff costs $70 a bottle!"
But Jenna's got some time to figure this whole mommy-blog thing out. And in the meantime, there's Twitter, where she posts mommyriffic observations like: "Went to Babies R Us, lots of pissed off mommies there! I felt bad."
