Jennie Garth Post-Split: "My Personal Life Is Kind of Crazy"

The actress opens up about her pending divorce from Peter Facinelli and her new reality show

After 11 years of marriage, Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli announced on March 13 that they were going their separate ways. And, as expected, the former 90210 star admits that it hasn't exactly been easy on her.

"My life is a little hectic right now and my personal life is kind of crazy," Garth, 39, said Tuesday during an interview with Access Hollywood Live.

The actress, who was spotted sans wedding ring earlier this week, is busy shooting her new CMT reality series, Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country. And the mom of three says being in farmland away from Los Angeles is "what I need and what the girls need right now."

Garth and Facinelli, 38, have three daughters together: Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5. The reality star says the girls are "doing great."

When asked if she had any clue her marriage would change after Facinelli signed on to star in the super popular Twilight series, Garth quickly replied: "I had no idea."

Despite the rumors about Facinelli's alleged infidelity, the exes released a joint statement denying that adultery was any part of their decision to divorce.

"There are rumors out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family. We just want to make it very clear -- there are no third parties involved," they told People in a joint statement last week.
