Jennie Garth Might Reprise Kelly Taylor Role on 90210 Spinoff!
Exciting news for us Kelly Taylor lovers.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jennie Garth has walked away from her role on a new CBS pilot, My Best Friend's Girl, that was possibly keeping her from reprising her character, Kelly, in the upcoming 90210 spinoff. The mag reports that Jennie dropped out of the cast after Monday's table read and that it was "a mutual decision between her and the producers."
Jennie is said to be having a tough time coping with the death of her father, who passed away after she got this gig.
But, when Jennie is ready, she may already have a new (old) home to go to. Rob Thomas, the writer of the 90210 spin-off, has talked about getting Jennie back to Beverly Hills, to play our beloved Kelly, who would now be a fashion design teacher at West Bev.
