Old Spice Guy Joins Cast of Jennifer Aniston Film

You may not know Isaiah Mustafa by name, but you'd certainly recognize him -- possibly even by his abs alone! Mustafa plays "the man your man could smell like" in those hilarious Old Spice commercials (like the one below), which have single-handedly made the deodorant brand sexy. Now that Mustafa is retiring as the Old Spice spokesperson, he's bringing his buff torso and deadpan humor to the upcoming film Horrible Bosses, starring Jennifer Aniston and Colin Farrell.

"It's a smaller role," Mustafa told The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday, "but who wouldn't want to be in one of these funny, irreverent comedies? I'm playing a cop because I play these authoritative characters well. I don't know exactly who I'm in the scene with -- maybe Jennifer Aniston!"

Mustafa, a former NFL player, will also join Whoopi Goldberg in director Tyler Perry's next film, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf. And he's got some television roles lined up too, thanks to an exclusive contract with NBC (first up: playing a CIA agent on Chuck).

This new acting career is bound to be a huge leap for Mustafa, who has spent the last five years mainly playing nameless bit parts -- a bailiff on Ugly Betty, a cop on Days of Our Lives, etc. But those commercials (and the subsequent viral-video campaign) make a good case for his success: he has great comic timing, he's charismatic and he's gorgeous. (Sadly, he's also taken.) We'd be happy to see him again -- even if he's not riding a horse backwards this time around.

Do you think the Old Spice guy has talent, or is he a one-trick pony? Chime in below!
