In the last week, the blogosphere has been abuzz about the possible romance brewing between Jennifer Aniston and Christopher Gartin after they were spotted together dined together in L.A. While Aniston's rep denied a romance to People last week ("Chris and Jennifer have been friends for many years. She has had dinner with him dozens and dozens of times"), speculation about their relationship continues.
As it turns out, Aniston and BFF Courtney Cox have reportedly been friends for years with Gartin's soon-to-be ex-wife, professional wedding planner Joanne Gartin. When asked this week by RadarOnline.com about Chris and Jen's rumored relationship, Jo simply stated, "I’m really not at all interested in it." She went on to say, "Jennifer has been my friend -- our friend -- for over 10 years... we have known each other a long time.” The website even went as far as to interview a relative of Joanne Gartin's in Australia, who expressed dismay that the Friends star would start going out with Joanne's ex.
Meanwhile, Chris Gartin, 42, an actor who appeared on True Blood last year, is remaining tight-lipped about his famous friend (or whatever status ther relationship may be). According to E!, after he and Aniston were spotted once again after having dinner with one another, Gartin simply gave a "No comment" when asked about her. Aniston refused to give the paparazzi what they wanted either, and ducked as she and Gartin drove away.
