Earlier this week, conservative talk show host Bill O'Reilly spout out some harsh criticism of Jennifer Aniston's ideas on motherhood. But The Switch star has decided to fight back!

Aniston recently said she thought it was perfectly fine for a woman to have a child without having a man in her life, and O'Reilly claimed that her comments were "destructive to our society." So the actress, 41, went to People.com to clarify her words.

"Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth," Aniston says. "And, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming (with fatherly instincts), but for those who've not yet found their Bill O'Reilly, I'm just glad science has provided a few other options."

Zing!

O'Reilly fired off at Aniston on his Fox news show, accusing her of "diminishing the role of the dad," after she said she thought women shouldn't need to wait for the "perfect scenario" to experience motherhood.

"Dads bring a psychology to children that is in this society, I believe, under-emphasized," he said. "I think men get hosed all day long in the parental arena."

We're guessing the opinionated host won't let Aniston have the last word.
