Jennifer Aniston Throws Herself a Going-Away Party

The actress celebrated the sale of her $36-million Beverly Hills mansion with one last hurrah on Friday night

Selling your Beverly Hills home for $36 million is certainly reason to celebrate, and so Jennifer Aniston threw herself a lavish going-away party on Friday night -- one final hurrah in her old house before turning the keys over to the new owner.

"Jen had a party at her Beverly Hills house Friday night -- a little going away party since she plans on spending so much more time in New York," a source tells People. "She just wanted to have one more great get together with friends at the house before she moved out."

A big reason the 42-year-old star will be spending a greater chunk of her time in New York is undoubtedly new flame Justin Theroux; the writer-actor, who celebrates his 40th birthday Aug. 10, calls N.Y.C. home.

Aniston and Theroux, who star together in this fall's comedy Wanderlust, are reportedly looking to move in together and are currently house-hunting in Los Angeles. Plus, word around town is that Aniston is ready to take a one-year hiatus to "enjoy herself," so selling her lavish hillside mansion could be a part of that.

Whatever the cause, Aniston sure does seem to be enjoying herself these days -- and with good reason. In addition to her budding romance with Theroux, the actress recently scored a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and earned raves for her turn as a sexually agressive dentist in the surprise summer hit Horrible Bosses.

The revelry didn't stop with Friday night's bash. On Sunday, Aniston and Theroux

landed on a private island in Hawaii

for a romantic getaway, presumably to celebrate Justin's upcoming birthday. Sounds like Jen's year of fun has begun in earnest!
