Jennifer Aniston: People Act Like Life Ends After 40

The 42-year-old star says "it's weird" being labeled as an over-40 actress

Jennifer Aniston had a blast partying with some famous friends last weekend to celebrate her 42nd birthday, but the actress says she's still getting used to being part of the 40-plus crowd.

"All of a sudden you're labeled, you're a number," she complains on the Rachael Ray Show, which airs Wednesday. "It wasn't like 30-plus or 30 something. It's just that all of sudden, it's like, 'Wow for your age, not so bad.' It's like what?"

The Just Go With It actress even admits that it hurts "a little bit" because "all of a sudden they're making it sound like life is coming very shortly to an end. It's weird."

But Aniston is quite confident she won't be going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, the former Friends star says she's planning on partying it up for years to come. After telling Ray that she would consider going into the medical field if she wasn't an actress, Aniston quickly changed her tune.

"You know what, I would be a party planner!" she told the talk show host. "Why do I want to be a doctor? That's so depressing, leave that to the professionals. I haven't even played one of those of TV! I would want to be a party planner. I love planning a party, I love mixing people together. I love getting the food ready, it's just fun. And people always have a good time."
