Some of our old Friends reunited on the May 22 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Jennifer Aniston co-hosted the episode with Ellen DeGeneres, and the duo put together a hilarious skit that reunited Aniston with her former Friends stars Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox.
By the end of the sketch even we were confusing the actors' characters on the show with who they are in real life, but that's part of the fun. Besides, this is the closest we've gotten to a real Friends reunion in years. Watch the video below.
If anyone could bring the cast of Fridays back together, it would probably be DeGeneres. She and Aniston are close friends in real life, and clearly they're on good enough terms to make the above magic happen. When DeGeneres pressed Aniston during their co-hosting segment, the 44-year-old actress admitted she misses her old Friends.
"Doing that little bit with Matty and Court yesterday was ... we were very nostalgic and miss working together," Aniston says. "We miss each other, and it's a great thing to go back to your family like that. ... Also, [I] know that people will love it."
There have been a lot of rumors recently that Friends would have some sort of reunion to honor its 10-year anniversary, but creator Marta Kauffman squashed them back in April. She told E! Online that it will "never ever happen," while Warner Bros. also confirmed nothing Friends-related is in the works. Still, a fan can dream.
