Jennifer Aniston's Makeup - Celebrity Get the Look

Ever since she shot to fame on Friends, Jennifer Aniston has sported a tanned and natural look -- though her character Rachel was supposedly spending her life inside a coffeehouse trading quips with her pals, it looked like she'd actually been out surfing in Malibu all day long. This look works for Jennifer, and she wisely sticks to it, even for Hollywood parties, with perhaps just a touch more dark, sexy glamour around the eyes. She is Mrs. Brad Pitt, after all. New York makeup artist Shawnelle Prestidge of the Ray Brown Agency says Jennifer's look is simple, but remember to go easy on the bronzer. "You want to look like a bronzed goddess -- not a bronze statue," he says. (See Prestidge's list of recommended products.)

STEP 1 Start with an eye cream to hydrate the skin, then mix a cream foundation with a touch of base on the back of your hand. "The heat of your skin will melt the product to ensure an easy application," says Shawnelle. Apply to the face in sparing amounts using upward strokes.

STEP 2 For "star-quality pop," cover lids with a light dusting of loose powder as a base. Then set lids with a brush of your favorite shade. Use a frosty taupe shadow under the brow bone and blend upward onto the bone, fading shadow gradually as you reach the desired shape. For a slightly retro feel, use any dark "smoky" shadow at the lash line as a liner with a sharp-angled brush.

STEP 3 To achieve glamorous lashes without actually applying false ones, use a lash curler three times: Curl at the base, then middle, then tip. Next apply a base coat of a fiber-based lash builder, let dry and follow with several coats of black mascara.

STEP 4 Lightly apply your favorite powder bronzer with a blush brush. Double-dab the same brush into blush and apply to the cheek, then blend up the cheekbone in soft but deliberate strokes.

STEP 5 For lips: Apply an ultraglossy lipstick. (If you must use liner, try a soft neutral pink with a lip brush -- but there should be no distinctive lines!)
