Proof That Jennifer Garner is a Real Mom: She Wears Ripped Granny Panties! (Yes, We've Been There!)

Jennifer Garner might appear perfect at first glance, but a closer look at her wardrobe malfunctions proves she’s a quintessential harried mom, too. Mrs. Ben Affleck, currently pregnant with baby number three, raised some eyebrows this past week when paps caught the Alias actress accidentally revealing a sexy fuchsia thong poking out from above her jeans.

Although we love the super-mama for rocking a thong while pregnant, we can’t help but be partial to another of Garner's underwear mishaps. In 2009, the actress was spotted sporting pink granny panties (see above) poking out from above her jeans as she buckled in one of her girls into a car seat. What's more, they weren’t just any old granny panties -- they were ripped!

Now, this may seem like a small thing, but the fact that Jennifer Garner wears old unsexy undies sometimes, too, makes me feel better. I can't even count the times since becoming a mom when I’ve gotten dressed without looking to see what underwear I've pulled out of the drawer. Instead, I've focused on my toddler son, who at any moment could be attempting to flush a Matchbox car down the toilet or trying to vault the gate at the top of the stairs.

I know it's cliché, but since becoming a mom I just don’t have the time, energy or patience to try and look put-together every day. And it makes me feel better that maybe Jennifer Garner doesn't either! So thank you, Jen, for allowing a little reality to slip onto the A-list. Moms everywhere can so relate.
