Jennifer Hudson Bids Farewell to Slain Family Members

At a private ceremony held in Chicago, to mourn the loss of her mother, brother and nephew, Jennifer Hudson spent a few minutes by each of their caskets before leaning down and kissing her mom goodbye.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Jennifer was joined at the service by fellow American Idol contestant Fantasia Barrino, who dedicated the gospel song "Your Grace and Mercy" to Jen and her family.
Rev. Jesse Jackson and Chicago Mayor Richard Daley also attended, both speaking at the memorial for Darnell Donerson, Jason Hudson and Julian King. And, when the funeral had ended, a horse-drawn carriage led the procession to the cemetery.
Now comes the even harder part for Jen, as she has to figure out how to go back to her normal life, without the people she loved most. Our thoughts, prayers and love go out to her and her family.
