Having a weight loss goal is key for motivating yourself to workout and to avoid bad foods. But once you've reached your goal weight -- like Jennifer Hudson has -- you need to start thinking about and implementing a maintenance routine. During this new phase, the key is to build strength and continue to stay active, while not losing any more weight. Gracing the December cover of Redbook the Chicago native says she's finally at peace with her body. "I'm at the weight I want to be," Hudson says proudly. "But I hear all the time, 'Don't lose any more weight, you need to stop.' People are under the impression that I'm still losing but I'm not." Now that she is happy with her weight, she still does regular cardio and monitors her diet to maintain her ideal numbers on the scale. If you're at your goal, scale back on the workout to twice or three times a week and just enjoy.
