Jennifer Hudson Spent Mother's Day with Oprah!

The Oscar-winning Dreamgirls star joined in the party to celebrate the 10th anniversary of O magazine

If you're a mom, odds are you spent Mother's Day with your kids -- but maybe that's because, unlike Jennifer Hudson, you didn't get an invite from Oprah Winfrey! Hudson, the mother of 9-month-old David Otunga Jr., opted to celebrate her first Mother's Day by singing "Happy Birthday" at O, the Oprah Magazine's 10th anniversary event. She continued the day by walking arm-in-arm with Oprah and Mary J. Blige at the magazine's "Live Your Best Life Walk" -- a four-hour trek around New York City that benefitted 10 different charities.

Speaking to People before the event, Hudson, 28, called it "a really fun experience to encourage others to get moving and help support the benefiting charities." She also couldn't resist getting a plug in for her new employer: "Weight Watchers has helped me learn the importance of activity and I have seen the benefits that leading an active lifestyle brings -- which is a big help when I'm busy running after my son!"

Bette Midler, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Elizabeth Banks and Tracy Chapman were among the celebs who joined Hudson in walking for charity on Sunday. None of them are moms themselves, but hopefully they called their mothers en route -- or better yet, had Oprah get on the line! As for Hudson, she assured the press that as soon as the walk was over, she rushed home to be with fiance David Otunga and their adorable little boy.
