Jennifer Hudson Takes the Stage

It's been an awful few months for Jennifer Hudson, who lost her mom, her brother and her nephew in those senseless murders in October. But the Oscar winner is getting back on her feet, and is preparing to perform at three separate events in the next few weeks.
First, Jennifer will be singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl in Tampa, Fla., on Feb. 1 -- which will, no doubt, be spine-tingling. Then, Jen is set to perform at the Grammys' MusiCares event Feb. 6, before taking the stage at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 8. She is up for three Grammys -- Best Female R&B Vocal Performance ("Spotlight"), Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals ("I'm His Only Woman," featuring Fantasia), and Best R&B Album.
We hope 2009 is a much, much better year for Jen.
