Jennifer Lawrence Admits Her Two Comforts Are Reality TV and Junk Food

The actress says when she's on the red carpet, she's really wishing she were home watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians

After a long day on the red carpet, Jennifer Lawrence seeks solace in junk food and trashy television.

"Reality TV is my silver lining," the Silver Linings Playbook star, 22, admits in the January issue of Marie Claire South Africa. "At the end of the day there's probably nothing that makes me feel better than junk food and reality TV."

Lawrence, who lives in a two-bedroom apartment in Los Angeles, also admits to the magazine that her low-key relaxation methods mean she'd rather stay home than hit the town.

"I don't like going out that much. I'm kind of an old lady. After it's 11, I'm like, 'Don't these kids ever get tired?' When I'm out, I think about my couch. Like, 'It would be awesome to be on it right now. I bet there's an episode of Dance Moms on. Am I missing a new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians?'" Lawrence says. "I'm just stressed by the idea of missing them."

And for anyone who suspected that striding down the red carpet in outfits that are too tight, too revealing or too ornate can’t be very enjoyable -- Lawrence says you're right.

"They are not fun," Lawrence says. "I'm really bad at walking in heels. I'm more of a flats girl and I don't like people shouting at me, and that's pretty much all it is. Just screaming."

The Golden Globe-nominated Lawrence will be hitting many high-profile red carpets in early 2013, since she's likely to secure an Academy Award nomination for her performance opposite Bradley Cooper
