Jennifer Lawrence has made a big impression on filmgoers in The Hunger Games -- but she made an even bigger one the first time she hung out with Zoe Kravitz! In a new Rolling Stone cover story, Kravitz, 23, who costarred with Lawrence, 21, in X-Men: First Class, recalls how her good friend Jennifer stripped down in front of her when they were still casual acquaintances.
"I'd met her a few times, and she was like, 'You should come over and we'll hang out,'" recalls Zoe, the daughter of Lawrence's Hunger Games costar Lenny Kravitz. "So I go over to her apartment, and she opens the door in a towel. She's like, 'Come in, sorry, you're early, I was about to shower.'"
"And she drops her towel and gets in the shower, and starts shaving her legs, totally naked," Kravitz reveals. "She was like, 'Are we here yet? Is this OK?' And I was like, 'I guess we're there!'"
How's that for body confidence?
As Rolling Stone puts it, the young Oscar nominee "has a way of making a first impression" -- and amazingly, her Hunger Games costars all have similarly wild stories about meeting her.
Woody Harrelson recalls that the first sentence she ever said to him was, "Hi, Woody, I'm J-- is that a sex swing?" (She was looking at a yoga swing in his trailer.)
And Josh Hutcherson says that Lawrence called him to introduce herself before they started shooting -- but instead of the normal pleasantries, she took things in a very weird direction.
"The conversation started with her saying, 'Think about a catheter going in -- ouch!' and then turns into a 45-minute rant about zombies and the apocalypse," Hutcherson, 19, tells the magazine.
All of which goes to show that Lawrence is no ordinary Hollywood starlet. But then, we basically knew that already. (Remember how she doesn't believe in dieting? And she almost turned down the role of Katniss because she worried it would make her too famous? She's like Kristen Stewart all over again, in all the best ways!)
Quirky as she may be, Lawrence is now one of the biggest stars on the planet -- and we're all dying to see her play another round as Katniss. According to Hutcherson, who plays Peeta, the first Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire, will start filming in mere months.
"They have a release date already of November of next year, probably start shooting end of summer, beginning of fall," the actor told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Thursday morning.
You know what that means: a whole new cast to tell crazy stories about meeting Jennifer Lawrence!
