Last week, Jennifer Lopez coyly sidestepped rumors that she's been dating backup dancer Casper Smart, 24, for a few weeks. But the 42-year-old singer-actress-American Idol judge wasn't in a sidestepping mood this weekend -- unabashedly kissing Smart (pictured left) at party following the American Music Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night.
It was a big night for Lopez all around. First she performed a medley of her hits on the AMAs stage, and then later she picked up the award for best Latin American artist. To celebrate, Lopez headed over to the Fiat-sponsored AMAs after-party at Greystone Manor, where she met up with Smart and danced the night away in the VIP area. At about midnight, Smart took a breather from dancing -- and Lopez took this opportunity to rub his head -- and plant a kiss on him!
At least Lopez avoided any PDA during the actual AMAs ceremony, since her estranged hubby Marc Anthony was also performing at the event (though it appears he skipped the Fiat after-party).
"I just love what I do, and I just have this attitude toward life like you just have to attack it. You just have to go for it," Lopez told reporters on the red carpet before the event. "Sometimes it can be overwhelming... but every time I get tired or feel overwhelmed, I just go, 'This is good. I'm alive. It's okay. I'm lucky.'"
