Jennifer Lopez' boyfriend Casper Smart had better not be the jealous type, because the 25-year-old dancer is going to see a lot of his girlfriend's ex's around Hollywood. At the Golden Globes alone, Smart and Lopez bumped into two of the most famous men she dated: Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Ben Affleck.
Fortunately, this happens pretty regularly for the couple. Lopez visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently and tells the host that she sees her former boyfriends a lot.
"We're in the same business," the 43-year-old says with a laugh. "We run in the same circles." Watch the interview here:
A lot of time has passed since Lopez and Affleck split, but still our minds can't help but scream "Bennifer!" every time we see them near one another. That's all old news for Lopez though, who seemed genuinely thrilled for her former Gigli costar when he won best director for Argo and the film also won best picture (drama).
"It was a great movie," Lopez says. "They were really hard on us in the press when we dated back in the day, on movies and things like that. So, it was a nice moment. It was a nice to see him have that moment. I was really happy for him."
No animosity between exes -- we love watching stars play nice! Lopez is currently experiencing a moment (life?) of Zen thanks to her sweetie, Smart. She gives her beau full credit for helping her through -- what she describes to People -- a "big, heavy, devastating" divorce. Though it seems like she moved on to Smart from ex Marc Anthony fairly quickly, she credits her choreographer boyfriend for being "there for me" when her "whole world fell apart."
She's not blind to their 18-year age gap, either. In fact, she has brought it up to Casper, but she says that they're just happy living in the now.
"I ask him, 'Why don't you go find a young girlfriend and get out of here? What do you want with me?' And you think, 'How long is this gone be?' You think, 'Okay, in 10 years I'm going to be like this and you're going to be like that' and ... men at that age are ... I think all different things," Lopez says. "The truth is we don't know what's going to happen. We're loving this moment right now. We make each other happy."
She continues, "I'm at a point where I have to recognize that these choices and things that happen are partly because of me and my decisions and I have to be more careful. So I am being more careful."
