The judges' votes are in, and Jennifer Lopez has topped People magazine's 2011 list of the most beautiful people in the world!
The 41-year-old actress-singer-dancer-American Idol judge is no stranger to glamour, having been in the spotlight since her 1991 stint as a backup dancer on In Living Color, but she tells People that she is happiest at home with husband Marc Anthony and their two children. "Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It's so much better," says Lopez in the exclusive cover story in People, which hits magazine stands this Friday.
Lopez has been chosen for People's coveted Most Beautiful list 11 times, and this year she beat out Beyoncé and Jessica Alba for the prime No. 1 spot. She says that being beautiful is "part of (the) job," and that she works hard to keep her body fit and her skin flawless. "I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!"
Other celebs making the cut for the 2011 Most Beautiful People list are Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Hudson, Mila Kunis, Ryan Reynolds and newcomer (and Winter's Bone Oscar nominee) Jennifer Lawrence.
Lopez has a new album coming out and is currently in her first year as a judge on American Idol. Her compassion for the hopeful Idol contestants (she broke down after having to eliminate fan favorite Chris Medina) shows that People's Most Beautiful Person of 2011 is beautiful on the inside as well.
