It seems like Jennifer Lopez's rumored diva demands have cost her. Literally! According to RadarOnline.com, Lopez received a $12 million contract to become a new judge on American Idol, but it's $3 million less than what she had originally asked for.

But a high salary wasn't the only thing the 41-year-old was allegedly seeking in the deal. According to Deadline.com, a source revealed that Lopez also wanted a guaranteed "go" movie deal. Apparently Fox wouldn't give the "vanity deal" to Lopez. "They simply don't exist today. Will Smith doesn’t have put pictures," the source said.

Lopez has since laughed off the rumors of her diva demands and behavior. She even Twittered a tongue-in-cheek picture about it.

"In the end, she didn't turn up her nose up at $12 million," the source told Deadline. "I would have been very surprised if she had walked away. She lives very, very well. It comes at a cost."
