Jennifer Love Hewitt is a self-confessed serial dater -- so maybe becoming a real-life Bachelorette is the next logical step! Hewitt, 32, has reportedly been dating Ben Flajnik -- the eligible winemaker whom Ashley Hebert turned down for J.P. Rosenbaum on the finale of The Bachelorette.
Flajnik, 28, was spotted having drinks with the actress last week in San Francisco. According to Us Weekly, the reality runner-up entered the bar with Giants baseball player Cody Ross, but ditched him when he spotted Hewitt from around the room.
"It seemed like a first date," says the magazine's eyewitness.
The source adds that Hewitt was "loving the attention" -- and as the bar began to close, "she grabbed his hand and marched outside."
According to Life & Style, the meeting wasn't a chance occurrence; the publication claims that the Ghost Whisperer star tracked Flajnik down via Twitter after seeing him on TV! Maybe they got that idea from the tweet Hewitt posted after the August 1 Bachelorette finale.
"Omg! Ben f accept my final rose !!!" wrote the actress after watching Hebert reject Ben's proposal. "I love that ring. Neil lane u rock!! Happy for Ashley.... Gotta book a flight to Sonoma !!!:):)"
Whatever happened with Hewitt, it sounds like it's not serious; Flajnik has denied that he's back in the dating game.
"Dear Rumor Mill, I am not dating anyone," he tweeted on Wednesday. "Far too busy with work right now @evolvewines to even think about it. Go Giants. Out."
Hewitt, too, has a full work schedule ahead of her. On Wednesday, it was announced that she'll be developing her Golden Globe-nominated Lifetime Original Movie The Client List, about a Texas housewife who becomes a prostitute, into a new series. And according to Us Weekly, Flajnik might be joining her for the 2012 TV season: ABC producers reportedly consider him the favorite to become the next Bachelor.
