Jerry Springer Tells Kate Gosselin, 'There's Someone Out There For You!'

Kate Gosselin may have some baggage — 8 kids and a crazy ex-husband — but Jerry Springer thinks she still has a shot at love!

Kate Gosselin needs to stop all this talk of giving up on her dating life! According to Jerry Springer, what Kate needs is to get back in the game — but with an older guy! ”Maybe [Kate should go for] an older guy who would like to have children,” Jerry, the host of the new Game Show Network dating show, Baggage, told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY!

“Surely, there’s someone out there [for Kate],” says Jerry. “There’s someone for everybody, so no one has to be alone in the world.” Awww.

So, who is Kate’s “Mr. Right?” Someone who has “never had children and this is instant family,” Jerry tells us.

But, Kate’s had such a rough go of it, with her ex, Jon Gosselin, and has been pretty down on herself about the dating game. She even laughed at Live With Regis and Kelly host Kelly Ripa last week when Kelly suggested a “Win a date with Kate” segment. “I’ll never date again!” Kate said.

It’s true, when you’re famous, “it’s pretty hard to start off,” the dating process explains Jerry. ” You’re not going in with two people looking at each other and just liking each other. Here, you have someone coming off the street dating someone that is super well-known.”

Kate is probably wondering if the next person she dates is in it for her or for her fame. (Just look at some of Jon’s past paramours!) ”The alternative,” says Jerry “is for celebrities to date other celebrities, but of course that ends in 6.5 weeks.”

Jerry’s new show Baggage premiered on Apr. 19 on The Game Show Network and runs weeknights at 6:30 p.m. through Jun. 11. Check it out! (You too, Kate!)
