The woman -- who was only identified on the court documents as "J.P." -- says the incident took place on the same night in Sept. 2009 when cast member Ronnie Magro got into a fight with a man on the boardwalk, and was arrested for aggravated assault. In the lawsuit, the woman has named all members of the show's cast, plus MTV and its parent company (Viacom), as well as 495 Productions.
Legal trouble is definitely not something new for the Jersey residents, as it seems there is a new story involving the fist-pumpers and the cops every week. Most recently, Snooki was arrested for disorderly conduct after getting drunk and rowdy on the beach in Seaside Heights, while filming the show's third season.
Still, Magro says that most of the trouble they find themselves in isn't, of course, their fault. "You'll see throughout the show, we do go out and if we do get into an altercation....it's us just defending ourselves or reacting to somebody else."
