If you're anything like us, you've spent more than one occasion cracking up at the dessert disasters found on CakeWrecks.com. (Ace of Cakes, look away!) Happily, Jersey Shore star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino's heinous, headless birthday cake is a delicious new slice of entertainment. And the icing on the cake is...well, flesh-colored icing.
Sorrentino celebrated his 28th birthday (which is on July 5) at a New York City nightclub last night (boasting via Twitter that his "birthday bash...was off the hook!") with a life-size cake customized to look exactly like his infamous abs! The baker designed an edible torso-only creation -- perhaps because the reality star isn't all that famous for his brains? Reportedly, no chest hair was spotted on the sweet treat by birthday party guests.
The six-pack of a cake also captured the essence of The Situation with his trademark move (pointing at himself, or in the case of this cake, at his belly-button) and it was trimmed with a "gold" necklace and swim trunks. Next, we're curious to see some other Jersey Shore cakes -- bakers, stock up on orange frosting!
All kidding aside, the reality star has had quite a big year: he's taken part in a Twilight parody, released a not-so-well-received rap single, launched a clothing line, and debuted his very own cologne! The season 2 premiere of Jersey Shore comes to MTV on July 29 (10 p.m. EST).
