Sandra Bullock seems to have moved on after her divorce from Jesse James. But although James has since had a very public relationship with tattoo artist/reality star Kat Von D -- he has been engaged to her twice and been dumped by her twice (for cheating with 19 women, naturally) -- he still apparently has some latent animosity toward Bullock.
The 42-year-old motorcycle mogul made his return to reality TV Monday with an appearance on American Chopper: The Build-Off, and he decided to apologize to his fans for losing sight of who he is. And, apparently, "who he is" is a guy who likes to get in cheap digs at his Oscar-winning ex-wife.
"I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn't talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad," James said. "I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show 'em that I'm still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I'm not what I became."
So his former wife is just "some Hollywood actress" to him? Stay classy, Jesse!
This is not the first time James has directed snide comments in Bullock's direction. In May he told Howard Stern that Von D was "100 percent better" in bed than Bullock, calling the choice a "no-brainer."
He also told Good Morning America that he was happy he doesn't have to deal with Bullock anymore. "I can't worry about (Sandra) anymore," he said. "I think I've spent a good chunk of the last five or six years worrying only about her, and what she thinks, and what I should do... controlling all my movements and everything else."
Fortunately Bullock has another man in her life: her adopted 23-month-old son Louis. Hopefully the 47-year-old actress focuses on the good in her life -- i.e. the adorable little man she's been spotted with everywhere and her acting career -- and ignores her smack-talking ex.
