Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Mr. and Mrs. Justin Timberlake!
One week after her wedding, newlywed Jessica Biel has announced that she is taking the last name of her new popstar husband -- sort of.
"Yes, I'm changing my name," Biel, 30, reveals in Friday's issue of People magazine. "My professional name will still be the same, but for life, yes, I think it sounds great. I think I really won the jackpot of names."
In other words: "Jessica Biel" when movie credits roll, but "Jessica Timberlake" on dinner party invitations and holiday cards. Biel, who next appears in the film Hitchcock with costar Scarlett Johansson, is following in the footsteps of other celebs, such as Jennifer Garner and Julia Roberts -- who in their personal lives go by Jennifer Affleck and Jullia Moder.
Biel and Timberlake married on Oct. 19, after a week of pre-nuptial festivities with 100 friends and family on the Southern Italian coast. For her walk down the aisle, Biel wore a "whimsical" pink strapless gown by friend and designer Giambattista Valli. The Italian designer also adorned Biel's floor-length veil with pearls from her grandmother's bridal tiara.
Taking Timberlake's name is just one way that Biel is expressing her excitement about marrying the love of her life.
"It's hard to find that one person in the world," says Biel. "Once you find that person, go for it. That kind of commitment is very special."
